Vintage Gorham Sterling Silver Spoon Brooch ~ Gold-Tone Spoon & Key & Others! Please see photos for details and measurements. A quintet of vintage and other similar items. Sterling silver mini Gorham spoon brooch. If you weren't born with one - now's your chance! I don't think the clasp is original to this piece. The spoon may have originally been a salt spoon that was turned into a brooch. The clasp has been affixed over the full marking, but it does read Gorham Sterling. I was always going to take it to a jeweler to have the clasp removed, never did. Included is another spoon tie-tack type pin in shiny gold, not vintage but has an antique look to it. Would be nice on the apron of a baker or barista. Also a gold tone old-fashioned style key with typical clasp. The other items seem older. One is a single cuff link with brushed gold-tone with sort of a scrolled or floral detailing. The other two pins are unusual - as soon as someone tells me what they are it will probably be very obvious...maybe for charms or tiny framed photos...? They appear to be designed to hold something on the crossbar and they pin so that bar is horizontal. They can be lengthened a bit. Perhaps brass? some tarnish. Scrolled detail on the ends. My home is smoke & pet free. Thank you for looking.

kassj3106 FYI, I have one of the Gorham silver spoon pins. My mother received it when she went in to her local Gorham fine gift dealer as a gift for registering for her wedding silver. That was in 1951 or 1952. These pins were created as a gift premium. Back then, gift premiums were very common for everything from opening bank accounts to filling up your gas tank! To remove your pin back would ruin the original item.

pjkvintage @kassj3106 Thank you so much for that history! What a great time that would have been! It just didn't seem like the clasp was original to the spoon. Have a great day!
