Vintage Gold Tone Playboy????

I gotta tell ya this one has me stumped. I think it was a clothing tag, maybe. It's too small to be a bracelet and not a finger ring, which is what google says. If you know, I'd love to hear from you . It's approximately 3" long with a playboy ID tag at the bottom of chain. Piece is in excellent vintage condition
