Vintage Gold Painted Shell Necklace

This fun vintage necklace is made of strung shells that have been painted with metallic gold. Overall in decent condition but with one or two missing flakes of paint (see photo). It measures about 18" long and about 1" at the widest. Not marked, so unsure of age or location. Could be handmade. Clear and gold spacer beads between the shell pieces. A fun and funky look!
