Midcentury vintage Gold Filigree Ormolu Ornate Hollywood Regency style Tissue Box Holder or Cover. Made of gold tone metal filigree in an Art Deco style pattern of columns, plants, and swags of fabric. Includes two pieces (box and lid). Measures approximately 10.25” long, 5" wide, 2.5” tall. Interior wooden base is covered in gold cardboard and exterior base is velvet fabric lined to protect the surface it sits on. . Metal filigree is nailed to the wooden base with tiny nail heads. In very good vintage condition. Very minimal tarnish or wear despite the age. No broken or missing filigree. Velvet base shows wear and fading. See all photos for details.
