Vintage Gold Castle Hand Painted Chihusa Snack Made in Japan Plate *The Gold Castle name is listed on Sotheby's website for identifying old ceramic & porcelain. *This plate seems to be a "rare" find since no matching plate was found to this item during an online search. *The design resembles a painter's palette with a place for a cup. *This plate could be labeled as a "snack" plate. *The colors are very vibrant with all the red-yellow-coloring of what appears to be roses. *The stems are black (an unusual aspect) with black coloring used for outlining the flowers and for circling the plate, also. *There are pink and blue colored leaves all on a white background...another unusual aspect to see pink and blue colors for leaves.
