Vintage Gold Beaded Bird Ornaments, Rainbow and Silver Details - Set of Two

This is a set of two wonderfully fancy gold and silver beaded bird ornaments. They have an amazing amount of detail with pear shaped beads on the back, more of a druzy-like application of seed beads on the chest, gold sequins at the base of the wings and beautiful silver beaded wings and tail feathers. They both have very attractive, realistic looking eyes and each features a sash of diamond shaped, rainbow colored beads across the chest. These are sure to make any space sparkle and would look elegant any time of year. Perfect for wreaths, trees or other crafts. These birds are in very good vintage condition with no major loss of beads and nice bright colors. One bird has a small missing seed bead on the front of the chest. This could easily be replaced with another gold bead although it is hardly noticeable as it points downwards. Beads show some slight surface wear consistent with age. The beads are made of plastic and the bird body is likely a painted styrofoam or foam core of some type. Tail and wings are beaded on wire and they can be easily shaped to your preference. Each bird measures approx 6 in long, 2 in wide, at the widest, and 2.75 in high and comes with a woven silver ribbon for easy hanging.
