This gorgeous and RARE 1980’s Vintage Givenchy Matte Gold Plated Folded Heart Brooch and Clip On Earrings -Set is in excellent vintage condition with only one previous owner. It’s one of the most beautiful Givenchy sets I’ve ever seen. These couture have a satin-brushed, gold plated appearance gives off a rich retro luxe look. To find this set is incredibly rare and a treasure for collectors and lovers of retro luxury designers. The brooch measures approximately 1.75”L x 2”W and each earring 1”L X 1.25”W. Givenchy signed and stamped Hubert de Givenchy launched his first collection under the Givenchy name in 1952, shortly before he turned 25, after several years as artistic director for Schiaparelli. Givenchy met the American actress Audrey Hepburn, who wore several of his pieces in the film "Sabrina," marking the beginning of their enduring friendship and professional collaboration. Hepburn also donned Givenchy creations in films like "Funny Face" and "Breakfast at Tiffany's,". Though he dressed many other famous celebrities.
