Vintage Gingham and Lace Dress

Super fun blue and white cotton gingham dress with lace accents! Unknown era origin. I asked around and received opinions that covered decades. Best guess 50s/60s. I have a prarie dress by same maker posted. Both possibly made as theater costumes. Handmade with no tags. Much of it is hand sewn. Amazingly gathered waist creates a fun and flirty skirt perfect for twirling. Waist seam is slightly off so some of the gathered stitching is visible if you are looking for it. See pictures for example. Dress upper is lined with white cotton fabric. Long white metal zipper in back with hook and eye closure. Tiny hole on inside white fabric at hook and eye. See picture. Recently washed on delicate and hung to dry. There is some light staining on the front of the dress that did not come out with Shout. Stains hide in the gathered skirt so you have to go looking for them. See pictures. This would be great as a sun dress or as part of a Belle or Dorothy Halloween costume.
