Vintage German Round ceramic box lid jewel pattern

About the size of a softball, this round ceramic box has a mettalic knob on the lid and a pattern of what we think are various jewels all around. They look like cut stones in the colors of rubies, emeralds, sapphires, etc. Stamped on the bottom ARZBERG and the number 43.
