Vintage Garnet oval cut stud earrings

Two impeccably matched oval faceted Almandine Garnets in the classic wine or blood red hue. Gold stud basket settings set high to let the light in. Non drooping backs. These were my mother's go-to, I remember her wearing them back in the mid eighties so they're quite old but haven't aged a day. Beautiful condition with no visible flaws. Not stamped but they have never ever tarnished or become discolored.
