Vintage Garay Black Faille Evening Purse 1950s

This original vintage piece is from the 1950's (possibly late 40's). The handbag is in decent condition but has a few small tears in the original fabric in subtle places. The gold tone hardwear trims have some small stains from aging. Have not tried cleaning this. Short 2 1/2” handle folds down so it could become a clutch or evening bag. One inside zip pocket. Approximately 10 inches wide by 6 inches tall. This was given to me by a relative who owned it many decades ago.
