bohobyhope @ashlyd6891 ~ Ho Ashly! I had one of my monthly neurological procedures this morning and have slept most of the day. I’m so sorry that I’ve just now noticed your message. I plan to be up & about tomorrow and will take these measurements for you. If I haven’t posted them by late afternoon or evening, (Thursday), please please remind me!

bohobyhope @ashlyd6891 ~ This was my brother’s coat. He has resided overseas in the tropics the last couple decades. Before moving, he left his coat in my folks’ coat closet. I stumbled upon it recently, quite surprised to find it there. I was with him when he bought it at our local Gap in central NC. It reminds me of the style we shared during the grunge era, and I’d borrowed it several times back then. If you have any additional questions, please let me know!

bohobyhope @ashlyd6891 ~ Thanks so much for reminding me about the measurements! Measurements, laying flat (approx): Shoulder to shoulder (when zipped up to top): 19.75” Bust, from armpit to armpit: 24.0” Width across hem: 24.75” Arm inseam: 19.0” Length: 30.5” My brother was about 5’9” and weighed about 160 lbs during the grunge era when he wore it. It had the boxy oversized fit on him, and that cut was popular at that time.

bohobyhope @ashlyd6891 ~ My brother has been stationed at Pearl Harbor the last decade & a half, and he left this cool weather coat behind because he had no use for it there! I’m going to add another photo of the jacket just taken in daylight, and this will be a better representation of the chocolate color. I used a flash for all the other photos & the color appeared a bit lighter than it is.

bohobyhope @ashlyd6891 ~ Photo added! This photo is definitely better represents the color. I typically take photos during daylight hours so I don’t need to use the flash. I must’ve been super busy the day I posted it originally as well, because I typically include measurements in my listings. Oops!

bohobyhope @ashlyd6891 ~ God bless you, too! It’s so nice to hear those words from someone, especially on this app because it doesn’t happen very often! My faith in Our Lord has surely pulled me through a lot of the topsy turvy in my life. And thank you for your interest in this relic! I’ve got more vintage items I’ll be adding soon. I love seeing my favorite styles coming back around (just no parachute pants, Miami Vice suits or Members Only jackets please!

bohobyhope @ashlyd6891 ~ That was so kind. And God guides us to Him & guides us to lead others to Him, but most people are too busy or aren’t “tuned in” enough to notice. But God knew I was having a difficult day as I always do in the day of & the day after my monthly neurological injections. When my health was better, I spent much time volunteering with our Catholic school & church, and also with the Legion of Mary working with Alzheimer’s patients.

bohobyhope @ashlyd6891 ~ I truly miss sharing God’s love with others. Like you, I’ve not said “God bless you” to others, guarding against offending anyone. I’ve only mentioned it in my profile listing & a second listing I put up around Christmas. Maybe your words are a message from above that we shouldn’t cave to political correctness, alternately go ahead & share His message, because like me today, there are times we need the reminder that He’s very much still with us. ❤️

bohobyhope @ashlyd6891 ~ I’m so glad to hear God has brought you back to Him! I don’t know how I’d manage life without Him. Are you familiar with the poem “Footprints”? That’s my ultimate favorite.

marmoma Would you say the brown is like the first picture or the other pictures?

bohobyhope @marmoma ~ The color is closer to the first photo (the one I took without the flash). It’s a bit lighter than the first, but not totally washed out like the photos I took with the flash. I hope that is helpful. If you have any additional questions, please ask!

bohobyhope @marmoma ~ I just added the first photo, taken in different light, but with the flash. This photo more closely resembles the warm chocolate hue.
