Vintage GIFT! Pillbox Eric Javits Hat Bespoke Designer 80s-90s does 60s OG Box

Great holiday present! Eric Javits black velour pillbox hat in original Lord & Taylor Box (includes tags)! Made when he was a young milliner on 38th street (see history below). Black trimmings and appliqués add flair to the minimalist, brimless shape. Based on the tag, box and labels, I believe this hat was created in the late 80s / early 90s and it has been preserved with great care. A great retro look (80-90s does 60s) to up your fall / winter hat game. The hat is a size small (6 3/4-6 7/8).
