Vintage Fur Coat, 1940s, M

This vintage fur coat, likely from about 1949, is a unique and stylish piece. Crafted from a luxurious fur, probably beaver, or possibly rabbit or fox, this coat offers warmth and elegance. The coat features a label identifying it as "Fashion Furs" located at 1019 E. Superior St. in Duluth, Minnesota. The fur is a beautiful light brown color with subtle blonde highlights. It is soft to the touch, still has some shine, and provides exceptional warmth. This full-length coat provides maximum warmth and coverage and features three front closures, two inside straps to prevent shifting, and sleeve linings with elastic cuffs. Size: Based on the following approximate measurements, we believe this fur coat is size medium: Length (back neckline to bottom): 39" Shoulders (front shoulder to shoulder): 20" Back (underarm to underarm): 20" Underarm (inside underarm to underarm): 21" Sleeve (neckline to cuff): 27" Condition: There are seven small tears in the fur (see photo for an example): Front right shoulder (1.25"), front left shoulder (0.25"), back of left sleeve (1.5"), back of right sleeve (1.5", 0.75", and 0.25"), and upper right back (0.75"). All else is good.
