Vintage Full Skirt Embroidered Maroon 50s Nordic Knee Length Pleated 28" Waist

A vintage Nordic styled gathered skirt in a rich maroon / burgundy / wine red, thickly embroidered around hem and waistband in cream thread. Falls to about past the knee length, see measurements. Hidden zipper closure with a button fastening at waistband. No size marked, but this fits a 28 inch waist, about a US size 6. Great condition with light general wear. No fabric content tag provided; I believe this is cotton or a cotton blend. Garment does not stretch. Measurements lying flat - Waist: 14" Length: 23.5"
