Vintage French heavy duty copper tin lined pot

Classic copper tin lined pot with iron handles and hand hammered rivets This gorgeous vintage pot is 8” across and 4” tall. The iron handle is 9” x 1”. It is flat on the copper bottom. Clean but not polished. I like an antique look, but it does polish up to a bright beautiful copper glow. The tin lining is in perfect condition. It is important to know that these vintage copper pots must only be cooked on LOW heat. They conduct beautifully, that is why top chiefs love these so much! Use only wood or plastic rounded edge spatulas and spoons to avoid scratching the lining. If you use high heat it will bubble and melt the lining. Not to worry, there are silver repair businesses that also repair zinc linings. Excellent condition and this is very old! I have enjoyed having several decorating my French country kitchen.
