Vintage French White Polka Dot Dress, With Pockets & Belt! Size 6

I bought this gorgeous dress from a vintage clothing store, it's made in France and the fabric is a classic polka dot print (the dots are a light mint green). It's got pleated details on the bodice, a matching belt, and large pockets. I'm not sure what time period it's from, but it gives me 40s vibes. The tag says size 40, but I think it's closer to a size 6 in US sizes, based on how it fits me. Measurements are shown in the photos. Everything I sell is something I've owned and loved! I love thrifting because of how eco-friendly it is, and prefer to Posh my clothes once I no longer need them because I think it's a better guarantee of finding them a good home than donating when so many donated clothes never even make it into stores and end up in landfills. I'm 5'6", my weight is generally between 130-140, and I typically wear sizes 4-8 depending on the brand.
