Vintage French Tapestry Bag. Made in California.

Used/Loved condition. Please see photos for all signs of use and age, including discoloration to tapestry, and wear to leather details…water damage on handle loops and piece torn under top lock tab. Two locking compartments, but no keys. Inside compartments look clean and barely used compared to the outside. Very vintage look and made beautifully. I have a tapestry bag that was my grandmother’s from around the same era and the lining and details are plastic…this one is leather and fabric. Measures about 17” x 7” x 9.” No shoulder strap, although there’s only one side loop. Luggage tag. Zipper works but doesn’t go completely open all the way as shown. I would say that this is at least from the 1970’s, although the Talon zipper pull places it more 50’s/60’s.
