Vintage French Red Skirt

Bought this in a vintage shop in Paris a few years ago and never was brave enough to wear it out. It is in perfect condition. I think it may have originally been part of a uniform of some kind- see the little ribbon loops in the interior (they don’t show when wearing). Waist: 14 in, length:15.5 in.
