Vintage French Louis Rousselet Glass Pearl Earrings

Simple yet elegant French earrings made of glass pearls in various sizes in a long style. The pearls are luminous and creamy made with metal hoops joined. Rouselette was very proud of his creations, especially the pearls which the family held as a secret 'formula' of crushed seashells that were later 'discovered' or perhaps the their coating over the glass stones that they coveted so much was sold to a competitor as we see them later being made by Japan in the 1950s for Miriam Haskell and other designers. The color and design go so well with just about any wardrobe style or occasion, from the office to a night out. Please see photos for approximate measurements and details. The screw backs are singed Made in France and a tiny LR in a square cartouche, hard to see unless magnified. Not all of his pieces were signed, but occasionally we find it.
