Vintage Fred Leighton Cotton Pintucked Purple Maxi Dress c.1970 Size 8

My late mother’s wedding rehearsal dress worn once in 1970. My parents lived in the East Village and my mother purchased this dress from Fred Leighton’s shop on MacDougal Street in NYC. Made in Mexico it is still a beautiful purple color with long sleeves with only one remaining button. Snap closure with hook and eye and two buttons (one at the top could replace the missing one closer to the hook and eye) see video. Heartfelt piece as it was my mothers but I’m married without a daughter to pass this onto. My mother said find it a good home so with that … it needs a new life and adventure. It’s a small size 8 maybe for a tall small frame size 4/6? My mother was 32AA and 5’9” former model in the 60s. Very bohemian. Lived in a cloth garment bag but has very slight discoloration on one arm.. not super noticeable (see photo). Long maxi dress that could be shortened with the right seamstress. Buttons replaced etc. Fred Leighton collectors item for those who covet. Please see photos of approx waist, arm and dress length. Feel free to ask question.
