Vintage France Flag Shield Armor Brooch Enamel on Brass

This is a vintage French flag shield broach that I inherited. It was purchased during my dad's travels. It is enamel on brass and has a welded pin back. This pin back is unique. I've only seen it in pins from Europe 1918-1945. It shows some wear which comes with the age.
