The zipper is fully functional but sticks if zipped all the way up over the metal zipper stopper. I would recommend gently sliding up and stopping slightly before the top. Also if caught in the tulle it gets stuck so care will need to be taken when zipping it up and down to make sure fabric is not caught in zipper.
