@222holly ok for your first question, no there is not any closure at the top of the bag it’s just open. I personally don’t think there is enough room but that’s why I provided the measurement for the handle drop, 9 in, from the top of the handle to the top of the bag. I have seen other women carry bags up in their shoulder with short handles that I would never carry that way. 😊
