Vintage Escada Blazer

Vintage 1980s Escada Margaretha Ley Red Sequin Hearts Black Blazer Jacket. Amazing condition. Designed by Margaretha Ley in the 1980's, the blazer has fun gold metal heart buttons and is embroidered with gold hearts embellished with red, cream and white sequins. Hearts were a favorite design element for Margaretha Ley and became an iconic symbol in many of her pieces. She knew how to bring joy and humor to fashion without compromising the quality and fine fabrics for which Escada was known. Labeled a size 40 and estimated to fit a modern day US size 10.
