sarahroseandrew @junegregory It's definitely a black shell, with brown fur collar of course. I don't think it's wool because it's softer than my Pendleton 100% wool shell coat, but I guess it could just be a different kind of wool because it has hair-like fibers and texture. There's no material tag on the inside unfortunately, but has a silk lining an potentially wool shell. I just don't want to put it outside in the rain or try to light it on fire to test that.
