margaret_nicole @birdy_jeanne sorry I never got back to you! The vest is filled pretty well but as down performs it is flexible rather than stuffed. the length is average and sits comfortably above the hips. I'm unsure about how it fits as a medium but there is usually a fair amount of room with vests and the bottom has an elastic band. Let me know if you have any other questions!
