Vintage Elephant Wicker Bookends

Beautiful pair of vintage elephant bookends by Shanghai Handicrafts. Made in The People's Republic of China. The tightly woven thin reed or fine wicker forms a gorgeous pair of elephants mounted as bookends. The metal brackets are attached to the painted bottom. Please Note: one bracket is loose (see photo). I was going to hot glue it, but figured the buyer may want to fix it up as they see fit. Super rare was not able to find any of this style for sale currently.
