Vintage ESPO 14K HGE Delicate Open Ring with Ruby size 5.5-6

This sweet ring is signed 14KHGE ESPO - HGE stands for heavy gold electroplate, and ESPO is the mark of Joseph Esposito starting in 1951. The ring looks like it's most likely from the 1960s-1970s and features a simple band, open at the top with a small round pink-red stone. Looks like a ruby, but has not been tested. There are some losses to the gold electroplating inside the band, and a little bit of wear on the outside of the under side. The stone is so pretty! Measures about a size 5.5-6. Comes in a vintage green-plastic ring box, with green flocked foam insert. Unknown if the box is original to the box, but has a great vintage feel as well.
