Vintage EMPRESS Black Purse Interlocking Amber Bakelite Handles Circa 1950’s

Empress Black leatherette handbag with two interlocking deep amber bakelite lucite handles. Made in the USA circa 1950's by Empress. Shirred front back are identical. Bag closes securely when handles interlock. Two open inside compartments one central compartment which closes with a metal zipper round brass pull. Inside lined in black grosgrain fabric. 🔺Measurements are as follows- 8.5” H x 13” W 7.5” D Handles have a 5" drop. 🔺All measurements are approximate. This bag is in excellent condition for its age.
