Vintage E49 Elgin S Haller 400 Day Anniversary Clock German "Time Bomb" No Key

Vintage Elgin S. Haller 400 day anniversary clock. Known as the "German Time Bomb". Please do your research as to why it has earned this name. The clock is designed to run for 400 days on a single winding. Manufactured in the 1980s. I do not have a key to include. This clock has been semi-tested. It ran and kept time pretty accurately for about 24 hours. Due to its reputation and the fact I have no key I did not wind it up again. Also with clocks such as this there is an adjustment period for setting the time and pendulum speed. The clock itself is in great vintage condition cosmetically. There is some brass discoloration from age and a small dent on one side shown in photos. There are a few small scuffs on the glass also shown in photos. Base is approximately 8" across. Approximate height shown in photos. This clock is being sold as is due to not being able to wind the clock and due to the length of time it takes to properly set time and speed. There is a video that shows the pendulum is rotating nicely. Please note items may appear slightly different in color based on lighting in your own home. I use natural light and a light box to photograph my items. Also, with vintage items, slight imperfections or normal wear with age is to be expected. I strive to disclose and show any flaws.
