It is genuine leather and made in Italy. It zips at the top and then folds over. When it is folded, it measures 10 1/2 inches across and 7 1/2 inches tall. When it is opened it measures 11 1/2 inches tall. The interior is super clean. When the strap is at its longest length, it measures 32 inches from the top of the strap to the bottom of the bag.
