Vintage Dore' A L'or Fin Ewer Vase Porcelain & Brass two handles gilded in Fine Gold made in France 8"H 80s Lovely vintage Vase/ Ewer made in France in fine white porcelain, hand painted flowers, and fine gold gilt. The color is a light mint green with white simple floral design and finely detailed brass work, covered in fine gold gilt. The French Ewer/ Vase stands 8" high, 5" wide, 3 3/16" deep. It is in very good condition, the pure gold is magnificent, the hand painted flowers have a nice glaze like protection over the painting and the porcelain body. The item is vintage and there is a small chip in the paint on the back side of the ewer and it shows lighter than the pale mint, approx 2mm x 4mm in size. Made of solid Brass And Fine white powder Porcelain, hand painted lovely Floral Design and highly ornate details in the brass and the gold gilt showcase the high skilled metalsmith, brazier. Vase has the Designation, Gilded with Fine Gold, under French law this means the gold gilt/ plating must be made with *pure 24-carat gold.
