My grandfather was a home builder and also purchased old homes to restore. He was born in 1928. He purchased a house that was over 150 years old at that time. It was spectacularly grand ! 3 floors with an elaborate spiral stairway that spiraled up all 3 floors.It also boasted a wrap around porch that wrapped around the entire house….
