Vintage Dooney & Bourke Pebbled Leather Bi-Fold Wallet Crossbody. It has everything! It snaps open. It has a pull out checkbook, a place for your ID, 2 zipper compartments, change purse, place for your cash, 6 slots for your cards and a spot for your pen. It measures 7.25x5” with a 22” strap. **This was made in the early 1970’s by my mom who worked for D&B. Several of the ladies had a contest to see who could make it the best using left over materials. There were only a handful made and not for sale. Because of all the details & time it took to create it was determined it wasn’t feasible to add this to their product line. Pre-owned but in overall good condition. nova1169 You do realize that your story is impossible. Dooney and Bourke started out in 1975 making ONLY men's accessories. They did not branch out into women's bags and accessories until the early 1980s AND the All Weather Leather didn't come out until 1983 or 1984. Perhaps you meant is your Mother worked for counterfeiters who made fake Dooney and Bourke AWL in the mid 1980s.

albaugh94 @nova1169 was it the 80’s? I could have sworn she said the 70’s. Her and my dad are deceased so I can’t ask her. All I know is that’s the story. She told us anyway it might’ve been the 80s but she did not work for a place making fake ones. I don’t even know if they made fake ones back in the 80s.
