*This stunning ring was recently rented to be used in a photoshoot of The Great Gatsby!!!**Antique stones are an easy way to avoid controversial conflict diamonds and they are also earth friendly! Their value is beginning to surpass modern diamonds. This ring Is an Old European cut, .45 carat. The clarity is SI1. Color is I which means it is near-colorless. Two rubies adorn the diamond, 1 on each side. The band is platinum. I have appraisal papers. Ring is valued at $3600, current price is firm.

christie402 @mcmosmom I totally understand! When you submit payment PoshMark will not send me your money right away. When you pay they hold the money. I will send you a tracked package. When you get the package PoshMark will be notified via the tracking system. You will have 3 days to accept the purchase. You do this through the app. When you accept the purchase or if you don't do it by 3 days they release payment to me.

lillsonya Um just a question, if the ring is valued at $3600, a person who buys it can insure it only for the estimated value of $3600 an insurance company would not pay any more than the estimate, so I'm curious of the price your selling this gorgeous ring and what it's valued at? I'm new also to Poshmark but are you trying to make up difference because of selling fees? And the ring is beautiful!

christie402 @lillsonya thank you for asking! Yes you can insure it for the full amount. Some agencies may let you insure for more because it is antique. Yes I'm trying to make up for selling fees. It is less on my Etsy account.

smartgirlsummer Hi i have a question i have a few rings im selling im kinda new to only a few months. So what happens if i send my legit ring and the change the diamonds in it and send it back or what if the say they sent it back but send an empty box? Is there a way to insure this doesn't happen? I keep seeing people get scammed on here and was wondering if anything protects the seller. Thanks for the info I know im paranoid lol.

z_ladybug Beautiful ring! (And just my size)! :) I see the value placed on it is for replacement (if you had to either find another one or have one made). It is not the resale value. That would be less. I had a number of pieces of jewelry appraised a few years ago when my mother passed. That's what I was told by the jewelry appraiser. I ended up having to sell for less because of this. Good luck! You may do better because it is unique. Hope so! :)
