Vintage Diamant Starburst Patterned Brilliant Cut French Arcoroc Luninarc Round Fruit Bowl Set Featuring Elegant Diamond Pattern Design The Diamant Starburst Pattern was originally manufactured by well known Arcoroc Co., specifically as their Luminarc line of glassware crafted in France by the world renowned Cris D'Arques of Durand International. Initially created & designed in 1965 by J.G. Durand, it now is extremely desirable with the resurgence of Mid-Century Designs. This popular vintage pattern has long since been retired and well over 65 years old, now has become very collectible! Arcoroc, known throughout the world for great craftsmanship against heat and shock resistance for their tempered glass known as Verre Trempe. Their glass is tempered to create glassware that is up to five times stronger than that of others offering an added resistance towards breakage and hot liquids. Approx: 9" Round x 4" T , 3 pounds.
