This excellent 18” vintage rhinestone choker necklace, possibly from the 1950s. It features a central pendant with baguette-cut rhinestones and a series of smaller round rhinestones along the chain and fringe. Leather lashing reinforces the chain. Letter F on the clasp with lock and key. The style of the necklace is reminiscent of Art Deco designs, which were popular in the 1920s and 1930s, but also saw a revival in the 1950s. The use of prong settings for the rhinestones is a common characteristic of vintage jewelry.
