anpf1025 my parents did a dropped ceiling at our apartment in Union City, NJ, that dropped ceiling is hiding a huge loft in one of the bedrooms, all my Dawns, Barbies, GI Joe's (no Ken then), Dawns beauty pageant, barbie 3 floor house, car, plane... all other toys are there. I'd anyone updated the house, they made thousands of $$.

lousteau I can’t tell you how heartfelt it is to see so many Dawns! My grandmother gave me $5 for Christmas and my mom took me to TG&Y and I bought Dawn with accessories. I only had it a few days and she disappeared. I looked for her for weeks and weeks. We think the housekeeper stole her. She got caught stealing other things. I was devastated. I never got another one and never forgot the heartbreak of losing her.

tracygeoffroy WOW - what an AWESOME collection! We too loved Dawn dolls, we named the back haired one Angie and the redhead Gloria😊. We had the kitchenette stuff and pink corvette too. We could play with them for hours. Thanks for the memory.

nursemom64 It’s so nice of you to allow everyone to share their childhood memories here. I still have mine from the 70s and also, the ones that were released again in early 2000s (my daughter was young then, so I bought them for her 😉😉😂! I still have them all in my closet. Perhaps a 3rd generation will someday enjoy them as much as I did.
