Vintage, Custom-made, Shantung Silk, Long-Sleeve Wedding Dress (Size 16/18)

This wedding dress was custom-made for me in 1997 (friend's mom was a seamstress) and only worn once. I was a size 14 but my chest was always on the larger size, so I'm assuming a standard size would equal 16/18. I can't display more than 16 photos, but have MANY more to send, if seriously interested. Full transparency: It smells like perfume and 27 years of being in a plastic, zippered-up bag inside a plastic storage container. I took pictures in the grass and danced (a lot), so the bottom has wear and tear (dirt edge and other stains) and the veil has a slight hole. I'm happy married, so I think there's great energy in the dress. I'm getting rid of it because I don't have a daughter and I honestly think even if I did, she'd want her own, so why keep it if someone can use it as is or parts of it. : ) Fabric: Shantung Silk (slubbed) Color: Off-white Dress: • Long-sleeve with pearl-like beads on the snap-close cuffs (some from my mother's 1960 wedding dress were sewn in, hence the difference in the more yellowish beads) • Faux back-button closure w/full zipper • drop-waist • stand-up collar with pearl-like beads, v-neck • high-low bottom w/pearl-like beading along the edge (long in the back as a train) • button to attach train higher • cotton lining • Armpit to armpit: 19", front length 58", 74" back length Peti-coat: 16" width waist (the tag says Size 20?) and approx. 41.5" long Veil included (37.5" long, beaded headband, sequins)
