Vintage Cream & Sugar or Jam Jar ~ Meito China ~ Hand Painted ~ Pretty! Cute similar but mismatched creamer and sugar or jam dish. Ready for your cottage or shabby chic or vintage environment. Creamer is not marked. Pretty yellow & pale green floral motif with gold tone embellishments, appears hand painted. Due to hairline cracks, would consider this to have evolved to more of a decorative item. Use to hold small kitchen utensils or spoons or pens or makeup brushes or a succulent. Jam jar or sugar dish is marked Meito China - Hand Painted - Made in Japan. Pretty gold tone paint. There is a small nick that was painted over along the rim- see last 2 pics. Again, perhaps more of a decorative item instead of serving piece. My home is smoke & pet free. Items have been in storage for a number of years, please wash per instructions for vintage china prior to use.
