Vintage Cotton candy pink ruffle petticoat/crinoline

Absolutely delectable strawberry cream puff chiffon(?) petticoat. It has layers of salmon pink ruffles that create the most perfect twirl motion when swishing your hips! I believe this was homemade, but I bought it from a vintage store in 2008 and can’t remember what she dated it as, so for now I will say somewhere between 1950s-1980s. The waist band is adjustable with the pull string. This could be worn on its own, or as it’s intended under a skirt/dress. It is so soft and delicate, despite the layer cake effect. Note:* previous owner repaired rips in waist band, seen in photos. There is also a small hole at the base of the joining of the ruffle and skirt. This is definitely not visible when worn, and easily hideable anyway, but I wanted to note it. That’s all I could find in the mound of fabric W:16.5” as tied now, can be tighter or looser , and can be worn on hips or waist Length: 23” Great for rockabilly, sock hop, pinup or costuming
