Vintage Collegienne Bullock’s Pasadena Suit top Blazer Jacket This coat has the Union label “NATIONAL RECOVERY BOARD for COATS & SUITS”. This was used from 1938 to 1964. The National Labor Relation’s Act encouraged growth in stateside unions to create more jobs during the economic crisis of the ’30s. The Coat & Suit Industry union was born out of FDR’s New Deal Coalition.
