Vintage Cocktail Dress (1950s kisses 1980s)

This vintage party dress is a real gem of yesterday as it marries the 1950s cocktail dress and the 1980s “material girl/Madonna” gown. It might even be handmade! It appears to be made from mostly a sheer black rayon with a satin bottom trimmed in lace (see pictures). The dress could be worn with the back as the front or the front as the back. What I think is the back bears a zipper that appears to be intentionally decorative with a bow at the top that snaps on and off (see pictures). There are loose threads and some stressed seams (see pictures). The seams can be fixed and the threads trimmed. This is retro punk rock. Could be paired with combat boots for one look or fishnets and heels for another. Pit to pit is approximately 17 inches flat. The dress is about 39 inches long. The babydoll dress waist seam is 17 inches flat too.
