Vintage Coach Turnlock Wristlet

I sprayed with vinegar and used leather CPR on this. there is a hard spot on the leather in the back that I have no idea what is and was not disclosed by the person I bought this from. I haven't tried to clean it or anything. the lining is clean and doesn't appear to have anything on it so whatever it is, I don't think it came from the inside
