I believe this is an early stewardess bag
This is what my research has indicated
The Coach Stewardess Bag was first introduced in 1977 as style number 9525. It was crafted in the United States using Coach’s signature glove-tanned leather and featured a flap closure with a brass turn-lock, an adjustable crossbody strap, and a spacious interior—ideal for travel and daily use
The bag gained popularity in the 1980s, notably when a similar design was adopted by United Airlines as their official flight attendant bag. Due to its practical design and durable construction, the Stewardess Bag has remained a classic in Coach’s lineup.
If your bag has the style number 0033, it may be a variation or an earlier iteration of the Stewardess Bag. Coach’s numbering system has evolved over time, and some early models used different codes.
