Vintage Coach Leather Briefcase - Tan -1980s

Vintage early 1980s Coach briefcase in brownish tan. Great patina from my careful use for several years in that decade. All seams and leather are in excellent vintage shape. Please look at all photos to see for yourself! Stored carefully since the late 1980s but newly cleaned and conditioned with Coach products. Serial no. 059-7712. Outside dimensions are approximately 17 inches long by 11 inches high by 3 inches wide. Made in USA of very thick naturally tanned cowhide with natural scars, scratches, veins and wrinkles as described by the Coach label. (See photo of label) Newer Coach bags are made of thinner, less durable leather and are often produced abroad. All fittings and the zipper are brass. Two sturdy handles. Coach hang tag. Interior has two side-by-side narrow side pockets that are 5.5 inches high and run the entire interior length of the bag. The bag’s interior is otherwise one large space that can handle legal size files, notebooks and some laptops (which of course did not exist when this briefcase was made!)
