Vintage Cloth Doll 13" Folk Art Knitted Yarn Doll Green & Brown Knit Clothing

Vintage Cloth Doll 13" - Folk Art Knitted Yarn Doll - Green & Brown Knit Clothing & Cap - Extra Long Yellow Braids. Such a cute example of a young girl, hand-knit, with embroidery floss eyebrows and pale green eyes. The head, torso, and legs are one piece, ( she can not sit) and knitted in the two shades of green and brown. The yarn appears to be wool. The skirt, also in green and brown, is separate and sewn to the torso. She is soft, but firmly, stuffed. An online search did not turn up another example like her but a similar 1930's commercial pattern was found for a 12-inch doll with some of the same features. Her condition is very good with some moth damage to the yarn on the left arm as shown.
