Vintage Clocktower Cookie Stamp / Press

This vintage bisque cookie and butter stamp features a clocktower and part of a street with old world European architecture. The top has a small hole and the back has the stamped initials "HW". It appears to be unglazed pottery and measures 3" tall x 1.75" wide x 0.5" thick. This was in among my grandparents' collection of prized items from their travels as a young married couple in the 1940s. I'm uncertain where or when it was purchased, or even if it was ever used. However, it's in excellent shape and could be used for shortbread, gingerbread, springerle, sugar cookies, marzipan, or fondant, as well as to stamp pats of butter. Condition: Like new, no damage of any kind.
