Vintage! Christian Dior Grossé Germany Large Textured Gold Brooch Rare 1960s

This exquisite vintage Grossé Christian Dior brooch from 1960 is a stunning piece of jewelry that will add a touch of elegance to any outfit. Rare Large in size. Over 3" The intricate textured leaf bouquet design is beautifully crafted with yellow gold plating. The brooch is signed by GROSSE and comes from Germany, making it an original piece of vintage jewelry. Christian Dior, who breathed a life in his "New Look" collections and advocated a total look up to not only clothes but also details such as hats, shoes, bags, perfumes, jewelery and so on. Christian Dior highly appreciated the quality of the work and concluded a partnership with Grossé in 1955. They produced his work and held the license to produce and distribute Dior jewelry worldwide for 50 years. This Brooch is Large over 3" Long. ● This brooch had been well cared for and is in excellent condition. Excellent = No visible wear to the naked eye on the front side, though minimal flea bites/scratches may be seen thru a loupe or magnification throughout the piece as it is a vintage piece of jewelry (over 65 years old) ●Small section of plating loss on the underside of the brooch. It is now a bright silver, with no pitting, just gold plating loss. (Please see last picture.)
